I finally saw Sebastian Bach as J/H last Friday night and let me just say it was fantastic.

The first couple of minutes I sat there staring in shock and in awe at Bach's presence. Only having known him in the role of "rock star" frontman of Skid Row it took me a few to get over seeing him on stage, in costume, speaking with an English accent. But I got over that very quickly as he slipped into character.

I went to the show knowing of his incredible vocal talent but fearing he might fall a bit short on the acting end, having no prior theater experience. Those fears were almost immediately put to rest. I don't care what anyone says about his acting abilities, he pulled it off flawlessly. From my seat (row A) I was able to watch every facial expression and gesture. His diction was natural and unforced. He was completely into it every moment. His transformation was very animated and when he emerged as Hyde, it was as if the role were created for him. He was intense, sexual, creepy and evil all at the same time. It was absolutely mesmerizing to watch.

He nailed all the songs, although his voice sounded a bit hoarse and strained here and there, probably from all the shows he's been doing. But I am certainly not saying I was disappointed in any way. (Just thought he might have gone a little higher in TITM) Confrontation was incredible and the cheering and applause after it were long and loud.

When he came out at the curtain call he underwent another transformation: into the Baz all rock fans know and love.(and if I may add once again, I did not see up until that point) He ate it all up. Everyone in the audience went nuts!

After the show at the stage door he was friendly to everyone and happily signed autographs and took pictures. He was down to earth and didn't at all act like a "star", a true sign of class.

I recommend the show to everyone who has not seen him in it and I plan to go again. I'd also love to hear anyone else's thoughts on the show.
