Reunion

Hello Classmates!

Another five years has past and yes it has been 20 years!  We have now had more years out of school than our first 18 years of life.  Isn’t it amazing how much we thought we knew at 18 and how little 18 year olds know today!

We are planning our reunion for August 3, 2002.   Dinner that night will be in the Kirk Center on the campus of Olivet College.  Doors open at 5:00 p.m.  Alcoholic drinks are allowed but not provided. There will be music, displays and plenty of time to reminisce with old friends.  Later that evening, Sue (Byrens) Wilson is inviting everyone to her house between Olivet and Marshall for a bonfire.  Maps to her house will be available at the reunion.  Bring your favorite beverage with you to the bonfire.

We are looking for photos from school, past reunions, and of your family now.  If you could send them via computer to [email protected], that would be awesome.  If not, send them to Todd at 132 Wentworth Avenue, Battle Creek, MI  49015 and he will have a copy made so that you can have the original back without worrying that it will get lost at the reunion.  You can also bring them with you and we will have a display board for them.  Todd is also working on a web page for us.  It is still under construction but you can check it out at www.geocities.com/olivet1982.

We are also enclosing two surveys for you to fill out and return to us.  We will process the information and create a booklet of everyone’s basic information to hand out at the reunion.  We would like to create a statistical analysis of our class as well, showing the demographics of where we are today.  That is the other survey enclosed.  This information will of course be kept confidential and you do not have to fill it out.  Only the person finalizing the results will see the survey.  The surveys can be returned in the enclosed envelope.

The cost for the dinner is $20.00 per person.  If you are planning on attending the dinner, please RSVP by July 3, 2002 to Sandi (Janousek) Costello.
