"Sunshine"

Picture a flower, open to the sun,
Warmth and color radiating out to everyone.
See the bee, humming through the air,
Gathering the pollen as the petals show their ware.
Feel the breezes wafting through the grasses.
Note the stillness of the daylight as it passes.

Lie upon your back and gaze up to the sky –
Ponder questions about life, send a pulsing ‘Why?’ 
Out into the Universe, the fluid realm beyond
The speckling atom that is Earth,
With its green and blue lifepond.

Feel the peace come flooding back, a reassurance in your soul –
‘Let not the whys and wherefores of a lifetime be your goal.
Be sated in the energy of lovetime that is you.
To thineself and everything be true.’
