"Dreams"

Give me the world – let me take on the interesting faces;
My canvas unfurled as I set sail for other places.

I’ll voyage to the horizon and on to far and distant lands;
I’ll touch the minds of other people while I hold their hands.

I’ll dance and dazzle in their midst. I’ll sing to them a score.
I’ll take their thoughts into one fist and still hold out for more.

I’ll wash them with a bubbling flow – my mind’s communication.
We’ll give and take of friendship, with true appreciation.

Give me life – let me move freely within it.
My body dances when I move. I do not want to sit.

Discover the inner beauty of the person that is me.
Become aware of the intelligence you cannot fail to see.

Partake of the wisdom that is mine, and on ideas and fantasies we’ll dine.
Souls touch, auras radiate; inspiration and desire create.
