"The Actor's creed"

An actor is a messenger, in empathy with man - conveying thoughts and feelings in the Best way that she can - whether comedy or drama, tragedy or score, she feeds it to the Audience so she leaves them wanting more of the fantasy and romance, where they leave the World behind, or of the light-filling journey where they explore the realm of mind.

Let it not be dead or barren, let the emanations flow, so the seeds of a reality in receivers minds will grow.  Give it all your heart and feeling whether in act, or song and dance - see, The audience is reeling - you have woven them a trance!

Stimulate imagination, waken them slowly to your ploy, show the depths of woe and Elation, and their World will ring with joy. They will applause the captured fantasy and will laugh for a well-turned skit - and, when they do, remember that you accomplished it!
