| Jason Scott Loveland, Ohio |
| Jason was diagnosed at 8 months and it was felt that his development would progress normal because of his early diagnosis and no measured hyperammonia. However, he has mild developmental delays; but slightly less than his sister. He has received Sp Ed services since preschool, and has been in an Inclusion setting since then. He plays league soccer, has played baseball, plays basketball, snow skis, loves to swim, enjoys bowling and Playstation, and is active in Scouting. He works very hard at his school work and has received several awards for his effort and good conduct. His challenges are in the same areas as his sisters: abstract reasoning, language comprehension and problem solving. Like Melissa, Jason has very good decoding and spelling skills and performs at an A level without modifications in these areas. He receives modifications in other areas as he is in regular classes. Jason is always a favorite with his teachers and a great older brother to Kyle, his younger brother. He will be in 9th grade for the 2004-5 school year. |
