We are a family of 5, my hubby, myself and our 3 kids we are animals lovers at heart.
We are a small hobby breeder and only have a couple litters a year and we take breeding very seriously. I do enjoy showing my dogs in conformation as much as I can and have nibbled a bit in Rally-O , agility and obedience.
I guess the way I got started with the mini schnauzers it all started with the fact how my husband raved about the 2 mini schnauzers that they had when he was growing up, so one day I surprised my hubby with a black and silver mini schnauzer..a few years later ( 2003) I got my first show pup from Trix-an's Miniature Schnauzers ( Wanda Loreck). That was my "Lexie" Trix-an's Ladie Paradise. I also became a member of Paul Revere Miniature Schnauzer Club. Then came the aussies, I have always loved the energy and look of the aussies, I got my first aussie from Rocking W Aussies ( Lisa Wagner) in 2005 a blue merle whom we named Rocking W Oletown Remy. I love how the schnauzers and aussies blend well together.
First and formost we don't take breeding lightly , we strive to have puppies with wonderful temperments first and conformation second. All of our pups also have their eyes tested by a veterinary opthomoligist, vet checked , have 2 sets of shots and wormed 3 times before they leave. We also start potty training at 6 weeks so by the time they leave us they are 75-95% housetrained , we take them on outings to parks etc. at 8 weeks. We want to have well rounded pups that aren't afraid of new things or experiences. I find it convienient that my son plays baseball and my girls cheerlead at football games so it make it fun to take them to the games, where they learn to socialize with kids, people and other dogs at the games also learn to walk on a leash. All of our pups we guarantee for a life time against and congenital or hereditary defects.
