These speakers are made from one inch MDF. The cabinet is internally damped with a layer of 1/8" thick asphault roof sheathing. They are stuffed with wool. They use a four inch woofer from Radio Shack (#40-1197) that was made by Fostex #FE103. The tweeter is a 28 mm D2/28S from Dynaudio, with a fan guard as a grille. The finish is a sprayed-on truck bed coating from Kragens. There is no filter on the woofer and only an Audio Note 1.4uF capacitor in series with the tweeter.
