Which Premiership team would you refuse to play for?

　Liverpool.

Why?

　Its just natural, isn't it? When I was young they used to be my favourite team, but as soon as I joined United I decided never to play for them.

Can you juggle three eggs?

　I don't think so, but I haven't got three eggs anyway! I'll try juggling camera film...

Is there anything you would refuse to eat?

　I'm very suspicious about food. If I'm not sure about something, I get somebody to try it for me first.

What would you have been called if you were a girl?

　Probably Brit. That's the name of my younger sister.

What's the longest time you've spent injured?

　Two and half months, just this summer, with an ankle injury.

How do you make Alex Ferguson laugh?

　I make him laugh a lot, for instance l tell him Norway are going to beat Scotland at least two or three nil in the World Cup. That makes him laugh. I think he believes it as well!

If you could be any footballer in history, who would it be?

　Diego Maradona, but I wouldn't waste all the talent on cocaine. I think he's the best player ever, but he didn't make the most of it.

Would you own up if you ever got a penalty unfairly?

No, you can't do anything about it anyway. It's the referee's job to decide and not mine.

Have you ever been in a private shop?

Yes. I went into one in Denmark with my former team when we were about 14 or 15. It was interesting; we don't have those shops in Norway.

What do you spend the most money on?

It would be a house or a car, but I probably spend a lot of money on my computer. I call home to Norway a lot, so l bet I spend a lot more than most people on my telephone bill.

What is the nicest thing anyone has ever said about you?

I always get compliments from Silje, my girlfriend.

What have you got in your pockets?

Just my car keys.

Are we living through a golden age of football for the English league game?

Yes. Thanks to all the money Sky Sports invest in football, foreign players want to come over and that makes the league better. We are definitely on a high; this is one of the best leagues in Europe now.

When did you last go somewhere by public transport?

It must have been the train from London to Manchester last summer, when we had heard Eric had retired from football.

How did your parents punish you when you were a kid?

Actually they never punished me, they just played on my conscience. They would say, "Ahh, so that's it is it?" It worked as well as punishment.

Would you ever go on TFI Friday with Chris Evans?

No way. I just don't like to do public things outside of football.

Where's your favourite holiday destination?

It must be an island off Norway called Grie. It's a very small island where Silje has a house. It has to be nice weather though. The place is shut down in winter because there would be no electricity.

I don't know; where do I live?

　Yes, but it was simply to avoid the traffic.
