Leaving
I had a dream late last night
Of how you cried and cried
No matter how I tried to calm you
Your tears would not abide
Through tears you did say please
And begged me not to leave
I told you that I had to go
For you I had no need
I said we had our fun
Those good times are now done
And now we must separate
It's time for me to run
You looked at me so sad
It made me feel quite bad
Then I went out the open door
And walked on down the path
I woke up from that dream
My tears came down in streams
For then with pain I realized
