My computer seems very slow recently. Is there a way to speed it up?

One of the ways I speed up my computer is by an operation called DEFRAG. I believe all windows programs provide this feature. On my older system I exit to c-prompt type in defrag/f, then enter, then follow the instructions. On my other system I click on start, select run, type in defrag then follow instructions.

If you have never done this before the first time performed may take a very long time to complete but what it does is rearrange all the data on your hard drive to optimum conditions and will make your system run faster. I do this to both of mine every day and I never have any problems on line. It will also speed up other operations you may use. If you are unsure of what I'm talking about, check with manufacturer for more details. It is worth the time and effort.
