I downloaded the Gittleman tutorial from the prairienet.org site about 8 mos ago. It appears to be the same program you referenced. I think it is terrific.

I've played "party bridge" for years and when I got my computer(about a year ago), I was very excited to find the Yahoo bridge site. I started in Social because I equated it with party bridge. I very quickly realized that I was sadly lacking in skills to be much more than a "fair to poor" partner(fair being a kindness to myself---lol) Someone told me about the tutorial and I downloaded it. I also went to beginner's lounge to practice.

I have recommended this tutorial to lots of folks there who want to either learn how to play or, like me, trying to improve.

It is clear, logical and very easy to use. I think it is the best help available on-line. Everyone I know who has used it feels much the same.

Also, the Fifth Chair Foundation at www.fifthchair.org has a section called Bridge
School with lessons and quizzes, much like Gittleman's. It is also very helpful.

I've enjoyed your postings and information and
efforts to help folks improve. Thank you both very much.
