Old World Watches

Elgin - photos & description

Model #7 Grade 157
-open face, nickel movement, 7 jewel
-made 1899, just cleaned & serviced with a new mainspring
Sets & winds good, keeps good time, extremely nice dial with no damage or hairlines, blue spade hands, all three in good condition.
-Case is a Essex 10 year case, no dents, all covers, closes good & snaps tight, case is dull & could use a good polishing. Inside dust cover is extremely dull, scattered dark spots on case, nothing major, no engravings, very good crown & bow. No hinge damage, case could be used for a lever set size 16 watch. Has bezzle but will need a crystal.
-Overall a very nice watch. Kind of unique due to an open face movement in a hunting case. $100.00
