Spicy Chechi (ChickPeas)

tsp ground cumin
½
tsp chili powder
¼
tsp paprika
1tbsp
sugar
Pinch
salt
1/8
tsp freshly ground black pepper
Sprinkle
oregano
16
oz. canned (drained) chickpeas
2
tbsp olive oil
Mix
all spices in a bowl.
Add
chickpeas and coat well.
Pour
oil in a large skillet, and heat on medium heat until hot but not smoking.
Add
chickpeas and fry until very crispy.
Drain
on paper towels.
Great
for a quick tasty appetizer!
