“Baunce” (Cherries in Liquor)
1 qt or either Grappa or 100% Vodka
2 lbs of Bing Cherries
4 allspice whole berries
4 cloves
2 cinnamon sticks
1/2 lb of cubed sugar
Wash cherries; cut stems leaving them just a quarter
inch in length.
Put in mason jar.
Add other ingredients.
Wait about a month before using. When serving take a few cherries and put in
a cordial glass and add liquor.
A special treat after dinner. It has quite a kick.
