| William Cornell & Co., commenced business as wholesale and retail tobacconists from premises known as 'Havana House,' at 55 Rundle St, Adelaide, around 1898. The year 1914 saw the company form into a limited liability operation trading in the style of Cornell Limited. Their spacios office, warehouse, and show rooms, were housed together in a four-storey building located on the north side of Pirie St on the Hyde Street corner. |
