Old tins and enamel signs
The Arab brand trade mark was registered to Wilkinson & Co, Adelaide, on 31.1.1895

A colourful old tin of great character.

If in better condition, I would suggest suggest a price starting at $100
The business was founded by Alfred Wilkinson in 1882 with the opening of a small grocery store. Two years later Wilkinson acquired the wholesale grocery business of William Morgan of Currie Street.

Business grew steadily and required the building of larger factory and offices in Grenfell St, Adelaide, in 1898.

Among the t/m's registered to Wilkinson & Co, were: Viceroy; Pansy; Mandarin; Gold Medal; & Welfare teas.

The company had branch factories in Port Adelaide, and Broken Hill, New South Wales. The company traded until being purchased by Bunge (Aust) 31.3.1955
