Francis Hardey Faulding

Faulding was born 23.8.1816 at Swinefleet Yks England.
He came to South Australia in 1842 on the vessel Dorset from the colony of New South Wales.

Faulding commenced business from his little shop next to the Waterhouse Chambers in Rundle St, Adelaide, in 1845.

Before his death on Nov 19, 1868 at his home at Glen Osmond, near Adelaide, F.H. Faulding had successfully laid a solid foundation for a vigourous progressive business which has stood the test of time.

In the year (2001) Faulding's still operate production laboratories at Salisbury, South Australia.
