She is a safely conservative skydiver.Shaun is a video flier who has taken up freefall photography as well. He is good at all he puts his hand to.I think Susan & Shaun have a "thing" going.I like them both. |

| Shaun has been involed with me & my family from the start of our skydiving lives. He has jumpmastered for me, my wife & the 2 of my children who've made jumps. How involved is that? Besides being a "JM", now the term is Instructor, he's one fine video flier & skydive photographer! He's a fine person as well. Let me go on about that "fine person" thing. At a boogie, in another state recently he was watching one of the last tandem loads on the last day of the boogie. A video flier who was videoing a tandem made a dumb turn way too low & came to grief ( no he's not dead but will take months to heal ). Shaun rushed over to see if he could help, and so |
| did several other skydivers. Seeing that the injured man was being aided there, Shaun saw something that he could do that was being left undone by the others. Shaun picked up the video fliers helmet & camera, went over to the tandem that was just then landing & videoed that last part of the customers jump! Shaun then went to the hangar and editted the video, finishing the job that other wise would have gone undone! Now, I don't know if the hurt guy got the pay for the video but I do know that there would have been no way he'd have gotten paid had the job not been finished. Let's look at this for just a moment. Shaun could have viewed the fellow as competition & said that's no business of mine, I'm not getting involved. Shaun did get involved and finshed a job for a downded skydiver, however. What a guy. Please note that Oldskydiver was not there & therefore did not witness the event for himself however, we've heard all or parts of the story from enough credible folks that the story floats for us. |
