If you've been on this site lately, you know that the gray mare pictured here bucked Randall off 2 weeks ago. Randall is healing, just not as fast as he healed when he was younger though.
Randall's son, Brandon,
has ridden the mare twice since she put Randall on the ground. The mare was edgie but didn't offer to buck on those 2 outings.
She's a very powerful animal & a skilled bucker
She'll always hold those 2 trump cards. We, therefore, doubt that she'll ever be a horse for the average rider, but you never know. She might turn into a sweetheart that you can put a kid up on. Right now, however, riding this horse requires a very good & athletic rider who has guts & the ablity to heal.
Randall has ridden 3 times since being bucked off. He plans to keep riding but he'll choose mounts more carefully.
It's now Sunday evening. We spent the afternoon at the pasture. We did chores, Brandon stacked brush that he cut Saturday. They're making trails to connect to other parts of the farm. After chores we put all four horses under saddle & rode. The gray mare worked very well for Brandon. He has brought her a long way already.
It has been a very good weekend. We rode & enjoyed eachother's company.
Just like most of the skydiving photos posted on this site, the photos on this page were all taken by Cynthia & we thank her. Cynthia rides every week & as it gets warmer  she'll be riding almost daily.
Carmen thinks it is " Much a do about nothing"
and sends rasberries to everyone.
