Dammit!
I arrived late.....blame work!!
So i missed Shiva, arse.....but i was told by at least four different people that they were very good....here's what they said:
'It was the best set i have heard' Anna
'I liked the drummer the best' George
'For me, they were the best band of the night' Helen

Well, as always I provide simple impartial advice on what matters. He he....
Also to add insult to injury i missed 'Indigo Pirates' too. Featuring a friend of mine the 'beautiful but deadly' Philippa on the bass guitar, and other people i don't know. The place was humming with the anticipation of their set, and by all accounts they did not disappoint. A new band, lets hope we see more of them in the future.
What can you say.....gigs do not got any more eventful than this. TWR were excellent, sounded good, and had some material i hadn't heard before, with some very good riffs. They really rawqed.
Morso were very good, giving the audience something different, seemed very professional, and sounded shit hot.
But it would not be a normal gig if it wasn't for somone cocking it up.......but this time it wasn't a missing PR or, an annoying old guy who talks to much, or a guy who sang 'if you hold a candle to the devil you will get burned'....it was a whole band. They go by the name of Mod Squad......for starters they aren't Mod. They played other peoples songs, badly. They insulted Antihero for no reason, and they were totally out of line, they also tried to buy support through the use of Toys and Chocolates, and by throwing balloons into the crowed during their 'rendition' of '99 red Balloons'. Most of the chocolates ended up being thrown back at the band...Dammit these guys sucked harder than the Dyson that was taken off the market cos it sucked up a whole family. I am not trying to destroy these people, i hope they read this, and then try to learn to play the instruments they had in their hands, and then when they do, i will sing their praises.....(but unlike them, it'll be in tune).
