This Film Four production takes a slightly surreal if cynical view of the church in modern day society. The film follows Matt and Damon as two angels trying to get their way back into heaven with a team of would-be heroes trying to stop them. The result is a fast paced comedy with some seriously macabre humour thrown in along with Alan Rickman. The writer and director of this film is Kevin Smith and so to everyone's surprise he decides to use his most famous creations, Jay and Silent Bob to make the proceedings a little more immature. This is a quality film and if you like a good laugh at religion's expense then go ahead and get this one now. Available at all quality video/DVD retailers. Old Skool Rating 5/5

Good direction, but I think it suffered from not having any talking monkeys in it.
