| 12:00ish.. we met up in scorching heat in Aunt Sally's on Clarkhouse Road with a grand turnout of 11, to experiance the cool beverages, hot food and intermittant service on offer and plan the rest of the days activities. Since our old badminton haunt of the Pearson Building could not accomodate us Sid booked us in for a few games at Ponds Forge. | ||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||

| 15:30....Following my traditional warm-up routine in the Queens Head (hadn't changed in nine years) we had a few freindly games before Sid and Lindz successfully challenged a couple of locals to a game (one way of staying on court after your alloted time) and we arranged to meet up later at the Varsity on West Street. | ||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||

| 19:30....its far too hot so having baked in the Varsity we head for the La Manga tapas restuarant. Theres no air-con and we're eating spicy food so Sangria seemed a good idea, although Mike prefers flaming Sambuka... | ||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
