For those who didn't make it heres the brief version of what happened, although when the photos are added the full story will be obvious....
Anyway, after suprising the staff of the Nursery Tavern by having customers at twelve (and after trying the food popping over to Bagel Time) attempts were made to prove we did all once play badminton regularly, much to the amusement of some studenty basketball types. High point of play was properbly when Andy realised he'd just got changed in the Ladies facilities.
A brief break to get changed and the survivors met up again in Menzels back on Eccesall Road, a previous favourite haunt because a past owner gave us free wine. Moving on to Ayesha's fine curry house, the waiters were slightly put out to find we had fewer than we booked, but the grub was nice.
Slightly swollen we were ferried into town to find Hot Pants now located at Aqua (used to be the dire Roundhouse under Pond's Forge). Amused by the sight of three Hen parties (70's clobber/ flashing tiarias/ 20 bunny girls), we finally put in the sort of effort we should have stuck in on court.
Still, everyone seems to want to do it again next year.....
