Moviemaker Andy Warhol made a film called, "My Hustler" about strong, strapping young men that would cross over from Sayville to Fire Island to serve what the film called, "Old Faggots." It was filmed in Sayville/Gayville 11782. It is called Sayville/Gayville 11782 because Sayville, Cherry Grove, and the Pines all share the same zip code and post office. They also share the same downtown and train station. Sayville is the gateway to the gayest place on Earth, Fire Island. It has the highest percentage of homosexual on Earth. In the movie an "Old Faggot" called a service in Sayville called, "Dial-a-Hustler." The strapping young men then take the ferry from Sayville to make it with the old queen.
In real life large numbers of young men from Sayville, often football players, make summer money by selling themselves to the old queens. Most of the money is made in the Fire Island Pines as opposed to Cherry Grove because people in Cherry Grove are poor. Many justify it because they are struggling though college and need to pay their bills.
filethirteen.com said about the movie, "There are bitchy old queens and young boy whores but none of them are ever anything but themselves. There is no drama derived from the bitchy queen trying to be or wishing to be anything other than what he actually is."
There was a woman in the film that gave the "Dutch Boy" some advice, "You are very pretty, but you're not exactly literate, and that would help in old age." At the end of the film, the woman said to the young man who came over from Sayville the truth, "Why be tied down to these old faggots?"
filethirteen.com claims that "Warhol insiders claim that there was much 'secret' lacing of people's food and drink with LSD during the group's trip to Fire Island and that Warhol avoided this drug by only drinking tap water and only eating chocolate bars from his private stash during the trip."

Day after day, Solanas stood on the
sidewalk desperately trying to get people to buy copies of her manifesto, but no
one seemed to take her seriously. She was broke and worked as a prostitute to
make pocket money. She often resorted to stealing from her John's while they
were sleeping. Warhal information and art.
When Val's friendy Candya drag queen who Val called the epitome of male
oppressionreceived an invitation to Andy Warhol's party, Val begged to come
along so she could give Andy a copy of her manuscript. At first, Andy Warhal and
his crowd regarded Valerie as an amusing novelty, so they accepted her
manuscript for kicks. However, as she continued to show up at the studio
unannounced, her behavior towards Andy grew increasingly annoying and
aggressive. After making many unanswered inquiries regarding the status of her
manuscript, Val finally demanded that Andy return it.
