FAREWELL FRIENDS, IT'S BEEN FUN
Yes, it means what you think it means. I am officially retiring from this beautiful project. I've been making this patch for well since last summer, and it moved from a little spot on Johnny K's page to a pretty big thing (in the TeamFortress community, anyway ; ) and I now officially step down from the throne. Why? Because there just don't seem to be any cheats left to exploit in this area of Teamfortress. I've made all the models glow that I could, and put in several relevent scripts, but what do I do now??? Anyway, READ ON
WANT TO BE THE NEW AUTHOR OF THE GLOW?
Just because I'm quitting this doesn't mean I want it to die. So I am going to give the exclusive, thoroughly copyrighted (hahaha) rights of this extremely complex and sophisticated (hahaha) patch to whoever I think will be able to contribute to it the most. It doesnt even have to be one person, it can be 2, 4, 50, 9,394. I don't really care. I just want it to live on without me. If you want to apply, just send me an e-mail with all your previous quake design experience. This includes skins, models, pak editing, QC, anything quake or teamfortress related at all. The new official author will be announced on this page when I find a good 'un.
A TeamFortress Cheat Add-On
December 20: 1000 HITS!! WOOHOO!!!!! : ) Everybody go and tell your clanmates, friends, etc about THE GLOW. We're gonna hit 2000 by February! ; )

November 15: Well, I finally put up a page for THE GLOW, and hopefully it will help circulate it. In case you didn't know, THE GLOW is a simple pak file that you put in your c:\quake\fortress directory, but it has drastic effects on your game. Click here for a complete list of all the hacks in the current version.
November 23: WOOHOO! Version 1.2 is finally out.. check out the new features:
NAILS GLOW- Nails and engineer bolts now glow a bright blue (like the sentry gun base)
DISPENSERS GLOW- Dispensers glow red
THE GLOW LOGO AT STARTUP- who cares? ;)
**CUSTOM SCRIPTS- Now built right into the pak are scripts for rocketjumping, improved sniper zoom (works with any class), and auto-id (automatically id's whoever you look at) ***Thanks to Rolan Nunag a.k.a. 'Coconut Monkey' for the idea!
INSTRUCTIONS FOR INSTALLING THE GLOW:
1. Download the zip file (obviously)
2. Unzip the contents into your c:\quake\fortress directory
3. *IMPORTANT!* If you don't see immediate, drastic changes when you start QWCL up, rename pak2.pak to pak1.pak in your c:\quake\fortress directory

Yep, that's right! I'm going to expand THE GLOW from TF to all the other major mods as well! I'm going to do CTF first, and then start on the others. You can get it here when it's done, and if you have any suggestions for mods you think I should spoil for all the fair-players (heh heh) then e-mail me.
