Wonderful letters I have recieved. These letters show how very inportant it is to share your old photos. Remember, you Great Great Great Grandparents are someone elses too.
This goes the same for Aunts and Uncles.
Dear Donna,
My name is Kathy Purvis and my grandmother was Sada Mae.  She married Boyd Ginter and had 10 children (two in Kentucky and the other 8 in Ohio).  I have several photos which past onto me when my mother died in 1999.  I have a photo of Taylor and Dora with all the kids.  I will try to scan in jpeg and send it your way so you can add to your site.

I was so excited when I seen the young picture of my grandmother.  I am saving it, so I can print it out!!!  If you need any information from me...let me know...I'll send it your way!!!:)  :)
Thanks,
Kathy
Loved your site!!!  Great to see pictures of my relatives.
Perhaps you could pass this info on to the people who submitted the Pettit and Alfrey photos:
My great-grandmother was Mary Jane PETTIT Alfrey (1865-1920).  She was the sister of James Pettit (first husband of Elizabeth Hardin).  I have a picture of "Jim Pettit's daughter, Mollie Pettit, Milt Harden, Minnie Brown."  I believe this photo was taken before 1910.  I know that Mollie Pettit was the cousin of my grandmother, Ora Venna ALFREY Donohue (1903-1990) but I'm unsure as to her relation to Milt Harden/Hardin and Minnie Brown.  Perhaps Milt Hardin was related to Elizabeth.
(I am also related to Alfred Donahue on my grandfather's side).
It was WONDERFUL to see a picture of another cousin of my grandmother's:  Andrew Alfrey.  I knew a lot about his father, Harrison but all I knew about Andy was that he married Katherine Sweeny and that "Uncle Harry's Andy died with the flu in the First World War."
I will scan Pettit photo and send it to you.
Thanks,

Sometimes I remove the name's to protect my friends. But the letters are wonderful.
Good morning from South Carolina!I'm Kathy D, M's  daughter, Charles R. Forman's great-
granddaughter.
I just wanted to let you know how thrilled I have been getting to learn about
more of my heritage, thanks to you! The photographs are priceless. I plan to
try to print them out on good photo quality paper.
You are such a blessing to my mother--did you know that?! She has been so
anxious over my Dad's health, and in so much pain because of her back. Your
emails have been a great, positive, diversion for her.

THANK YOU!!
Kathy
