Laxie Hardin was the daughter of James Willie Hardin and Myrtle Gregory. She was born about 1925 in Rowan County Kentucky. Laxie was raised by her granparents Alfred Hardin and Sarah Elizabeth Pelfrey Hardin, after her father died. When she was 3 years old. Laxie was taken from Alfred and Sarah Hardin, after she caught TB. She was placed in a "Mental Hosptial" where she lived out the rest of her days, never being allowed to see any member of her family, because she was contagoius. A sad and true story. I was told it brook her family's heart. |
