Hart were, however, one source, "Crabtree", by Norma Jean Crabtree,
states that his parents were John Hart and Mary Irvine. About 1833,
Isaac Hart married Celia Combs, the daughter of William Combs and Anna
Thompson, probably in Russell Co. Isaac and Celia had the following
children: Julia Ann, b: abt 1834, was married shortly to William Cook
and later to Joseph B. Smith; Nancy Ann, b: 28 May 1835, married John
Sargent 08 Oct 1856; Susannah, b: abt 1837, married Squire Thompson;
Charity, b: 06 Jun 1839, married Joseph B. Kendrick; and Matilda Jane,
b: abt 1842, married James Rogers. Celia Hart died in 1892 and Isaac in
1894. Both, as well as their daughters Julia Ann, Charity, Matilda Jane,
and numerous descendants are burried in the Hart/Kendrick Cemetery which
is located near the junction of Hart & Weaver Creeks.
John & Nancy Ann "Hart" Sargent moved their family from Russell County
to Morgan County, Ky. about 1860. John died 09 Apr 1862. The children of
John Sargent & Nancy Ann Hart were: Hugh, b: 1857; Drew, b: 1859; Green,
b: 1860; and John, b: 1861. After John Sargents death, Nancy had the
following children with James Hopkins Lewis: Frank Sargent, b: 24 Aug
1863; William Kendrick Sargent, b: Nov 1870; and Ellsworth Dorton
Sargent b. 05 Jun 1873. Nancy Hart and James Lewis were never married.
Nancy Ann Hart died in Morgan County, Ky. on 17 Oct 1911.
Isaac and Celia Combs Hard have Many Grandchildren's of Grandchildren in the Rowan county area.
