Display Case

Where the jail cells would start on the east side of the building lies the display case the Commissioners decided to construct for historical and tourist purposes. This case includes many historical photos, including a 1905 picture of county officers, as well as prisoners, inside cells, various sheriffs, etc. Antique handcuffs, keys, and a bell are all pictured above as well. Many people look at these artifacts as extremely pertinent to the history of Holmes County.
