It is a pleasure to inform you that the rehabilitation and adaptive use of the former Holmes County Jail and Sheriff's Residence in Millersburg by the Holmes County Commissioners has been chosen as the recipient of a 1998 Ohio Historic Preservation Award of Merit.

The Ohio Historic Preservation Office Awards will be presented on Saturday, September 26, 1998, at the Annual Meeting of the Ohio Historical Society in Columbus.  We invite you and a guest to join us as our guests at the Historic Preservation Awards Luncheon on the Museum Level of the Ohio Historical Center at I-71 and 17th Ave. at 12:00p.m.  A response form n enclosed for your convenience...

This is the award the Commissioners' Office received from the state in 1998.  It resides on the wall in the Receptionist's area, as one walks in the front door.
