was set at $8.7760 based on current market value of $66,586.56, of which $3,281.06 was in cash. The club currently has 7,587.331 shares. $2,050.00 additional to invest at this meeting.MINUTES:
Bill (future grandfather) opened the meeting at 8:27.There was discussion of officers, but there were no changes at this time. Meeting status was discussed.
It was decided to return to monthly meetings (after some discussion) with dues being payable each month. Meeting time will remain at 7:30. Checks should be made to Fidelity, not Old Hills Investment Club unless you just want to tick Tim off (recommended). Terry indicated we have received a $10.76 check from Orbital, with warrants for 6 shares for 3 years. Terry indicated he would track the warrants. Terry also indicated tax numbers will be posted to the web site after Jan 1st.
Also check the web site for CBS market watch which can be used to track our portfolio.
STOCK RECOMMENDATIONS:
Tony - Disney; Al – Cisco, Compaq; Terry – Flextronics, Sanmina, Affymetrics; Brian - Cisco, Sun; Bill - Sun (McSherry block), Marvel. Top vote getters were Flex, Sun, and Disney.
We agreed to buy 35 Disney, 100 Flex, and 50 Sun.
