Bill called the meeting to order at 9:10.
Bill opened the meeting by saying that it was another poor month with the exception of Marvel, Inc. Terry was optimistic that the stock market would turn around soon but Dale and Tim Z. were a little less enthusiastic about an upturn in the near future.
Net Asset Value
was set at $8.8289 based on current market value of $59,613.91, of which $7,891.86 was in cash. The club currently has 6,752.114 shares. $2,300.00 to invest at this meetingThe following stocks were presented by members for consideration: Terry – Tellabs; Tony – Harley-Davidson; Walgreen’s; Dale – Walgreen’s; Tim C – Harley-Davidson; Bill – Marvel; Tim Z-- Pass
Group chose to buy Harley-Davidson (HDI) (5) votes and Marvel (MVL) (4) votes
Bill closed the meeting at 9:30 PM.

Wednesday, August 8 at Pizza Makers 8:00 PMWe bought 50 shares of (HDI) @ $49.50 + $14.95 = $2,489.95
We bought 200 shares of (MVL) @ $3.27 + $14.95 = $ 668.95
