OLD HILLS INVESTMENT CLUB 22 MEETING DATE April 11, 2001

MEMBERS PRESENT: Tom, Terry, Tim Z, Bill, Mike H, Tim M, Ted, Brian, Jim S, Tony

MINUTES:

Bill pounded the gavel at 8:10, and began a discussion about our general philosophy. We discussed if the market has bottomed, should we buy back some stocks, or all of what we sold after our March fire sale.

Two ideas gained acceptance. 1) We should have a smaller number of stocks that we can track. 2) We should buy larger quantities of stocks we like.

There was a brief review of documents and information.

Net Asset Value was set at $8.5872 based on current market value. The club currently has 6,000.046 shares. Total assets: $51,523.52 -30.3% loss

$22,000 to invest at this meeting + $19,000 in cash reserve.

We voted to invest about 25% of our total available to invest. The following stocks were presented by members for consideration:

Terry – Citrix, Microsoft, Nortel, Serena, World Com: Brian/Terry - JDSU; Tony - Sun; Jim S - Krispy Kreme; Tim Z– no buy. New: Bill - Bea Systems and Pfizer; Tim M - SFBC; Ted – Juniper; Brian – Cisco. Final vote included JDS and Pfizer.

We bought 100 shares of PFE @ $40.06 + $14.95 = $4,020.95

80 shares of JDSU @ $20.56 + $14.95 = $1,659.75

Next meeting : Wednesday, May 9 at Pizza Makers 8:00
