OLD HILLS INVESTMENT CLUB 17 MEETING DATE: November 8, 2000

Bill called the meeting to order at 8:17. Terry began discussion about posting a web site members could access. The advantage would be that members could view current positions at any time. The cost is estimated to be $35 start up, plus $10 per year maintenance. Terry would manage the site in a 6-page format, and each member would have access to personnel information via password. There was some discussion regarding the idea. Tom proposed we set up a web site. The idea was seconded and accepted by a 7-1 vote. Look for info soon. Terry will ask members for a 4-digit PIN #.Stocks were reviewed, and our IPO, approved in October, will be available soon. We had agreed to purchase LMNE. Members are reminded investment club elections are due in January. Results from same will be available after a lengthy recount. Tony proposed a new member, Ted, seconded by Terry. The vote for acceptance was unanimous, 8-0.
Net Asset Value
: was set at $13.5617 based on current market value.The club currently has 4755.511 shares. $2.400 to invest at this meeting. The following stocks were presented by members for consideration: Terry – JDS Uniphase Tony – Unysis Brian – Bea Systems Tim Z – no buy Bill – Medichem . Final vote included JDSU, BEAS, MCLS. Group chose to buy 22sh JDSU and 100sh MCLS. We bought 18 shares of JDSU @ $65.625 + $14.95 = $1,196.20; 100 shares of Medichem at $9.00 + $14.95 = $914.95. We also bought our IPO , LMNE, 80 shares @ $11.69 + $14.95 = $954.95.
