| A selection of 3 maugham's patent bottles (commonly referred to as round-enders). The top bottle embossed Bickford & Sons would date around the mid 1870s, and was filled and dispensed from their aerated waters factory in Waymouth Street, Adelaide. The middle bottle dating around 1905 - 1910 once belonged to the Lion Brewing & Malting Co, Ltd, of Jerningham St, North Adelaide. The bottom bottle also belonged to the Lion Brewery was dug from a rubbish tip dating mid 1880s - 1900. |
