Beehive Building,
King Wm St, Adelaide. 1927

The Beehive Building as featured in this photograph, was erected in 1895-96 and adopted it's name from the former structure on this site which dated back to the 1840s.

Ferdinand Carl Strempel's chemist shop was located in the northern portion of this building (left).

The building sits in a similar condition in modern times, after restorations were completed in Jan 1999.
