A portion of the
extremely rare
Horn family collection
The Central Co-Operative Cordial & Mineral Waters Ltd, of Carlisle Street, Glanville, existed from 1916 to 1929.

Between may 1922 and 1923, Bendigo Pottery of Victoria, Australia, made 5,760 crown seal stoneware ginger beer bottles. Very few of these bottles have been found.

One reason for their rarity could be that at the closing of the operation in 1929, all of the bottles were smashed and thrown into their cellars, which were then filled in and a new buildings constructed on top.

The glass internal thread riley patent featured, is 26ozs in size, aqua, and rated hard-to-get.
