It's been over a year now that i have played gooeymud, and im accualy more on the player side then the wizard side (being that i am horrible at coding :-) ). From the first time that i loged on and met the great guide who dosent know how to spell (fixed now) i knew that this was going to be a good mud. I traveled north to the tutorial rooms which covered the basic in-game commands such as get, tell, north,south,east,west,etc... The tutorial rooms also covered one of the more useful items in gooey mud which was the green hole. Basicaly the green hole is a teleporter for thoese tight situations in the jungles/swamps or when you just want to get back to town quickly. Above the tutorial rooms was the town of newbieville. From newbieville you can buy some items/armor/weapons if you have the money and if you don't, you can always go down to the arena and fight some rats to get some prety decent change, but dont go too far down, the rats might kill you. From newbieville, you are ready to explore the world of gooeymud. One thing that makes Gooeymud more enjoyable is that when you die, you dont have to go around as a ghost for hours trying to find where you died or even worse loose all of your well-earned items. When you die, you will start in the livinig grave, which is back in newbieville. You wont loose any of your items, but you will take a small loss in your experiance. Overall gooeymud is a great mud, but all that it needs is more people who accualy play and more people who are willing to become wizards. Maby I'll see you on gooeymud sometimes. Till next time, -Johndoe
