God has called us to be His Stewards. He calls us Now.. Today..
In this Upside-down world. This means returning to the God of
the universe the Best Part (Firstfruits) of His gifts to us..
In the giving to God the Firstfruits of our income, our time,
our everything. We spread His kingdom to everyone and every
situation we come in contact with.
In Matthew chapter 5 verses 13-16,
Jesus calls His followers SALT and Light.
Ever have a meal, which was possibly your favorite meal?
It was perfect, everything your Favorite..
BUT.. It needed just a little something more to make it taste just right?
We often will add salt (seasoning) to such a situation.
As followers of Christ Jesus we are also called on to ad seasoning
here in this all too often tasteless and flavorless world.
That flavor enhancement that salt can add ONLY takes place when it
comes in contact with or is applied to what seems the near perfect meal.
In that same way, we as the Body of Christ, MUST come into direct contact
with this world we live in today. As with the adding of salt to the meal,
what was offered as seasoning seems to becomes lost as part of the meal.
But Praise be to our Living Savior, The meal or this world will never be
the same once it has come in contact with the salt!
As long as we keep the salt is in the salt shaker that near perfect meal
will tastes the same. Jesus' "Salt of the Earth" must be applied to ad flavor.
I Pray That This Study Will Guide Us To Know In A Very Personal Way
Our Lord & Savior Jesus The Christ & What It Means To Be His People.
