HOW TO GET TO TOWN FROM CDG AIRPORT

At the arrival hall exit or sortie 36 you will see
AIRFRANCE BUS terminal. There will be 3 destinations and 3 specific parking
spaces, the first one go to ORLY AIRPORT, the second go to ETOILE ARC DE TRIOMPHE
and the third go to MONTPARNASSE. Usually we will take the bus which go
to ETOILE and then you can take the METRO (under ground train) to where you
want. ETOILE (gate of victory) is very famous place and it is the
beginning of the famous street called AVE DES CHAMPS ELYSEES. The fee of the
bus is 65 FF but if you buy return ticket it will be 110 FF. The bus
service started at 0545 from ETOILE to AIRPORT and available every 15 minutes
(sometimes you have to wait longer depend on the traffic). The bus stop at
street (or rue in French) CARNOT at ETOILE, you have to
recognize the name of the street because there are more than 10 streets toward
ETOILE and you have to get the bus back to the AIRPORT at the same place. The
distance from airport to town approximate 30 KM and will take about 40 min ,
the way back to AIRPORT the bus will stop at departure floor.

Next to AIRFRANCE BUS there will be a terminal for
ROISSY BUS. This bus will go to OPERA HOUSE closed to GALERIES LAFAYETTE and the fee will be 55 FF for one way.

Taxi will be available at sortie 20. Usually three
passengers per one taxi and extra charge for big baggages. The fee of taxi
depend on the distance by using meter, for example from CDG AIRPORT to ETOILE
it will cost about 250 – 280 FF. Remember that only few taxi drivers can speak
English or understand your English pretty well, so you’d better have the
address you wish to go in a piece of paper to show them.
