This is a pepper on a old and crimpy Italian terracotta plate, a great difference of contrast between the soft and the rugged. It is a good proof that it's the nature that is the greatest master of forms. I always liked the form of the pepper and that long before I saw the photo Edward Weston made in 1930 in Mexico.
