I grew up in a small town in southern Virginia, USA, in the county of Halifax. I went to the University of Virginia, where I received my BA in American History. I'm currently almost done with my MA thesis in History for Virginia Commonwealth University. I'd tell you my thesis topic, but it would probably bore you to death. Let's just say it's a topic in Virginia and Southern history involving violence. |

Right now, I'm half a continent away from my old stomping grounds, working in the Iowa State Archives and Records Program, where I work with the papers of the Governor's Office. |

I'm happily married (quite, thank you!) to my lovely wife Stephanie, whom I met through Moral Decay (the mud!), if you can believe that. |
