-- The ultimate goal is to collect a number of objects by a mobile vehicle. While achieving this, distinguishing objectives should also be made. -- The event takes place in a field of size 2mx2m. Ten each of two different kinds of objects (to be designed and provided by the designer) are arbitrarily scattered around the field. The purpose is to collect one of the two kinds of objects on a specified area at one of the corners of the field. -- The task can be achieved by one or more devices at the discretion of the designer -- The total size of the system obtained by adding the larger of the dimensions of each device in the field (or of the part that extends over the field, excluding the sensors) should not exceed 70 cm. -- No hard wiring is allowed to cross the field boundaries: neither for energy transfer, nor for information transfer purposes. -- Performance of the system is to be evaluated as the number of intentionally collected "good" objects minus the number of inadvertently collected "bad" objects picked at the corner in 3 minutes.
Main Problems to Handle During the period of designing and building the project, there exists problems to handle. Of course; these problems will be handled in a manner that the project objectives will be met. The main requirements can be grouped into three categories: -- Movement of the vehicle in the entire area -- Collecting the good objects -- Distinguishing the objects
Solution Procedure Of course, the solution of the problem is considered, but the solution way can not be published here since the competition between rival companies. After completing the project every details will be published. On the other hand, the project progress and some usefull informations always will be avaliable for persons interested in electric & electronics.
