The counseling division ensures the bringing up of successful, self confident and happy individuals to the society and works closely with the parents to achieve school-parent cooperation. The counseling division works smoothly with grades K through High School.

An individual may need professional help to know themself, to come up with realistic targets and decisions and to be in harmony with society. This process could also be referred to as Psychological Assistance. This support is given by 2 experienced professionals in our school. The counseling studies target the adolescent period between middle and high school as it is the critical period and their aim is to make students self confident and self sufficient. The counseling and psychological advisory program aids the homeroom teachers to make their classes more efficient. This department prepares brochures on laws and regulation changes in current regulations, counseling and psychological advisory services, disciplinary board and various other issues. It is responsible for distribution of these brochures to teachers, students and parents and also informs parents of the interests, talents and accomplishments of the students. The counseling program also helps students in various programs and various educational studies to solve their developement and harmonization problems.

The counseling division supervises the students who recieve psychological assistance and evaluate their progress. When needed, the division participates in PTA meetings and gives information on the studies of the counseling division. This division also files the records, makes corrospondances and prepares reports. All testing devices and the personal information on students are held fully confidential.

Being aware of the fact that the key to success is systematic, planned efforts are made as each student has different capabilities so they also help the students to prepare study programmes. The division works closely with the teachers and parents in order to follow the students performance and assists the students in making important career decisions.
