NORTH CASCADE NATIONAL PARK

Washington

Established 1968

North Cascades contain some of America’s most beautiful scenery – jagged peaks, deep valleys, cascading waterfalls and over 300 glaciers.  Authorized in 1951, the symbolic National Park Service arrowhead emblem – featuring Sequoia trees, bison, mountain and water – represents vegetation and wildlife, and scenic, recreational, historical archeological values.
