| Yet another LARP costume!! This was Kyoko, a Mongorian Necromancer. One of my more comfortable costumes. ^^; So, a few things to note... originally this was meant to look like a Miko (Shinto Priestess) with red hakama pants. These lovely grey ones were just a mock-up to see how they worked out and I liked the fabric. Weelll... they were a bit big for me and so we fidgeted with it - so historically, hakama have smaller pleats in front and larger ones in back - mine's the opposite for it was the only way we could do it without cutting the things up. Necromancers in Mystic Realms aren't nasty (well.. some are) I chose that because of the Shinto ancestral worship, and it was the closest. I made the semi-cheaty obi and my hair cord, also. I made Tabi socks which you can't see in these photos. Made in 2005! |
