| How To Make a Cabochon by Paul W. Cinnamon There are about as many procedures used to cut cabochons as there are cutters. In general, I believe whatever procedures work best for you represents the proper procedures for you to use. For those who have never cut a cab, or who are not entirely satisfied with the results they are obtaining, I will describe some procedures that may assist you. They should give you a good base from which to develop your individual style. The procedures I am going to describe do not address the problems presented in cutting special shapes, and materials that may require special equipment.
