The Absolute Final Decision (Maybe)
Sometimes I feel like I want out
Sometimes I want to stay
It seems that I change my mind about this
About two dozen times a day
You said you wanted to work things out
You said you wanted to try
But it seems to me it's just too late
And it's time for me to fly
But then you began to accept my decision
And I made my plans to go
Now I'm questioning my conclusion
If it's right I just don't know
I could stay a little while longer
To see if we can succeed
But I fear we'd end up back where we started
That's something I just don't need
So I have to make this final stand
To go ahead and depart
I'll somehow survive this on my own
And make a brand new start
And if in the future I find I was wrong
And my decision turns out to be bad
I'll resolve to make the best of my life
Remembering the good times we had
