Who are the Okie Keepsakers?
The Okie Keepsakers are a Tulsa, Oklahoma group of fun-loving collectors of Hallmark Keepsake ornaments. But club members don't limit themselves to just ornaments. We also collect a variety of other items including, Hallmark Merry Miniatures, Boyds Bears, dolls, Beanie Babies, Dept. 56 houses, Barbies, and many other collectible items.
The Okie Keepsakers are also registered with Hallmark's Keepsake Ornament Collectors Club (HKOCC) and qualify as a "local club". As a result, we receive quarterly mailings of all sorts of good things from Hallmark that we give away as door prizes. And the last several years, Hallmark has given a special, exclusive, ornaments for local club members only. And as a local club member, you are eligible to attend special Hallmark sponsored functions like 2001's Just Desserts, which was held the night before the artist signing Jubilees (which was open to all HKOCC members) in various cities in the US.
The club was founded in 1991 and we recently celebrated our 10th anniversary! We meet on the second Thursday of each month at our sponsor store, Becky's Hallmark, at 41st & Garnett, in Tulsa, OK, at 7 PM.
